So! I just discovered this delectable yummy yummy drink! Well if you use a lot of milk it could be a drink with bits in it, but if you don't add that much milk then it would be more like a pudding. It's creamy, it's sweet, it's chocolatey.... It is/can be dairy free and loaded with lots of good-for-you stuff (thanks to the chia seeds)!
Okay, lets get started!
chia seeds (can be found at most grocery stores, I got mine at Save on Foods)
warmish cream/milk (I used soy creamer)
cinnamon (if that's how you role)
sweetener (I used honey, but you can use mashed up banana too! Or good ol' sugar or even Maple syrup)
First mix the chia seeds, milk, cinnamon and cocoa powder. Start off with a spoonful of chia seeds and about a cup of milk to start for your chia seed to liquid ratio. Then mix every minute or so and the chia seeds with get a gelatin-y later around them. Then you can see if you want to add more milk or not (more milk makes it more liquidy). Then add the sweetener until it is sweet enough for your likings! Voila! Delish!
